I usually leave the gmail tab open when I am working from home and I appreciate that the number on the tab only indicates the number of emails in my priority inbox. There had been times where I was waiting for something important to come through and I clicked over many times only to be greeted by promotional emails. And now it's really helpful in cutting down on my email clutter! This was a rare new software feature that I have reversed opinions on. I officially endorse this feature as a big productivity saver! Still don't like the names of the tabs though. If you didn't turn them off already... how have you been liking Google's tabbed inbox?
