@bluestriped bee: @blackbird: @T-Mom: @PrincessBaby: Thank you for the support and thoughts. I am going to pick up a test today just for some closure and take it from there. Sounds like maybe some HCG can still show up, so might as well see first. I've been running around all weekend busy with my family that today I said, okay it's been 5 days already and I need some answers now... Didn't know where or who else to ask... Thank you HB'ers!!

Wow, I'm sorry about this stress you are going through. I haven't been through this, but I hope you get some answers. Getting a new OB soon sounds like a good plan too...

When I miscarried, I bled for more than a week. It was very heavy, very clotty, and very crampy. Extremely painful.

I went back to HCG testing weekly until the levels dropped below 5. It took me about 6 weeks both times. Mine were at 7 and 12 weeks, though.

I did have a couple of long cycles in the 40's following my m/c, though. Those periods were very strange and unusual. I'm inclined to think that your body is still adjusting to having a post partum period, though, especially since this is only your third cycle. All of mine were NOTHING like my pre-pregnancy periods. They were all so weird and different as my hormones worked themselves back out.

I hope you get some answers, though.

I had 2 very early m/cs back to back and I had heavy bleeding just like a bad period. One was worse than the other, but I think it was just heavier than regular AF, not longer from what I remember.

I had positives on FRers when my hcg was as low as 5. Anything under 5 means not preg, and Frer was still showing a faint pos the same day my blood draw was just 5 and I was still bleeding at that point. I don't think I took one after that but it probably would have been negative since it was already so light...

I hope you find answers!!!

Hi Bees,
I've been bleeding pretty heavily for 5 days now... not sure what's going on. I haven't taken a pregnancy test because I'm still nursing my toddler so I chalked up having a 46 day cycle to my hormones still working themselves out (this is only my 3rd cycle pp as my period didn't come back til Month 15).

I've never had a period this heavy though... Day 5 and I'm still changing myself around every 2-3 hours (usually my periods are only this heavy for 1 day, not 5!). Wondering if it's due to the extra long cycle I just had or if I was in fact pregnant and now, not? I would go to the Dr, but I currently don't have an OB since we moved to a new city. Thinking of finding one soon though if this doesn't clear up.

So I have a few questions I don't know who else to ask but you guys...

- When you miscarried, how long did you bleed for? How long was it heavy/light?
- Did anyone have only light to no cramping?
- Did you have dizzy spells?
- Was HCG detectable by a urine test after you bled? If so, how long after?

Thank you...
