So, I weaned-- Weaning sounds like more of a process than it really was. It was the easiest thing ever-- no fights and no engorgement. It was a gradual end, because he was dropping feedings on his own. I just dropped that last morning feeding this past week. He has asked twice for it and I just shook my head and said, "Mommy's milk is gone now. All done" and he was fine with it. He was somewhat disinterested for the past few weeks anyway. So. My goal was 6 months, which I then pushed to a year, and we made it even further! I am so proud of this accomplishment, and a little sad that it is over, but also ready for the next phase. Thanks for letting me share!! </p>
