I don't sterilize bottles, pump parts or pacifiers, I just wash them in soapy water. (I did the initial boil in water for 10 minutes though) I use the 5 second rule when a dry puff or cheerio falls on the floor at home. I don't care about dirt but I do care about germs. If he's out playing at the park and eats some grass or dirt or eats a cookie that fell on the ground, I don't freak out.
