@scotchbonnet: I'd also call the doctor if the baby's kicks seem frantic.

@scotchbonnet: Yeah - if something seems weird or off to you, I'd err on the safe side and just avoid the tea for now. You're the best judge of what's actually going on!

Hmm, ok, thanks for your replies. I will have to think/research this a bit more. Baby's movements after I drank the tea were so significant and continued for quite a while that it frightened me, to be honest.

My baby is very active anyway so I didn't realize it buut they might be picking up after drinking it. I don't think extra movements are bad though- I'd be more worried about fewer movements. I did notice I was gettin more stomach aches though so I cut back a little bit.

I sometimes notice extra movement after drinking RRL tea. Sometimes I notice more BH contractions. I chalked it up to the tea doing its job.

I haven't been noticing a change in movement, but I know that my Braxton Hicks are more noticeable/frequent afterwards.

Hi all,
i am 34 weeks this week and so I started drinking RLT two days ago as I had heard many good things about it. I only had one cup of hot tea the first day, but I noticed immediately that baby's movements/kicks increased A LOT. Like a lot. And strong. She kept moving around and kicking for the next 2-3 hours. I thought it was a coincidence but yesterday I had another cup (cold and diluted with plenty of water this time) and again, the crazy kicks started and kept up for about 2-3 hours.

So now I am worried that baby does not like it or is having an adverse reaction to it. I haven't had anymore tea until I can figure out if this is good or bad for baby.

Did anyone else notice a significant increase in baby's movements after drinking RLT???
