Sounds like a wonderful day! I love five guys!! I've never tried their hotdogs though. :)
A perfect day would look like this:
8:30am - wake
nurse, eat WELL, play
11-1 - nap
play, nurse, eat WELL
4-4:40 - nap
play, nurse, eat WELL (haha. she's not a good solid eater!)
6-6:30 - bath time
6:30-6:45 - play
7 nurse
7:15 be down for the night.

one of my most memorable afternoons with my daughter was when I pulled her out of school early to spend time together. we got cones from an ice cream truck (vanilla with rainbow sprinkles for her, of course!), then we went to Central Park with the sole purpose to get lost and explore.... no agenda or time limits :)

Turned out to be her last day as an only child because her lil sister arrived the next evening!

I have had some pretty good ones! Those smooth days are nice! The other morning, DS and I ate breakfast, then danced around the living room for awhile. It was so fun and random, and we both loved it.

Today was pretty awesome. This morning, we went to the playground with Charlie to meet up with some parents that we like. Charlie then ran randomly into his best friend, and had a blast.

Then he came home and took a 4.5 hour nap. Four and a half hours!!! He woke up in a GREAT mood. So we took him to buy a Christmas tree, and on the way we stopped off at Five Guys to buy a hot dog.

He came home and played great, and then willingly took a bath and went straight to bed. Meanwhile, we have a great looking (although little) Xmas tree.

Seriously if every day was like this, we would have more kids! Let's just say I've learned to appreciate good days... you never know when they will happen.

What was the best day you ever had with your LO?
