I asked a friend to run interference and pull me away if I looked desperate to get out of a conversation, but she didn't have to. Everyone told me they thought I "looked great!" And that's about it. The only overwhelming part and when I had to plaster a smile was when I was opening gifts. I'm so exhausted, sore, stressed, and sick of pregnancy commentary from everyone. I feel like the pregnancy Scrooge and the Grinch who stole the baby shower or something. </p> <p>My shower is this weekend and I'm dreading it. I don't want to be around anyone but my husband and if one more person comments on or touches my belly, I'm going to scream. And if I hear one more "are you breastfeeding/sending LO to daycare/getting an epidural/having twins" question, I'm going to start swinging!!</p> <p>Ugh how am I supposed to plaster on a happy face when a shower is the last thing I want do?</p> <p>Pity party for one. </p>
