We weren't concerned except that when he would finally go, it would be reasonably solid and then followed by green stool. That for us was a sign that things weren't working right. DS almost always would go the day before I decided I was going to do that. My doc told me to try a tiny bit of prune juice in a bottle if you have to but it's not uncommon for EBF babies to go up to a few weeks. If/when the blowout comes, you can change her on this, it soaks up any residual mess and then just throw it away with the diaper. You might want to avoid some of your favorite outfits for a few days and stick to darker colors or cheaper clothing. My LO went about 11 days without a BM so we took her to the Dr. Her doctor told us to give her diluted apple juice in addition to formula/breastmilk.. I know it's pretty normal for the pooping to slow down around this age, but she hasn't pooped in a week! She hasn't seemed too uncomfortable until today. I am NOT looking forward to changing this diaper. </p>
