@bree72: the goldfish was the one of my two that ripped. The blue stars one has been great and seems to get softer when I wash it (not thinner), like the blankets. So maddening!

@ohapostrophe: I was thinking some prints might be worse than others. I have the monkey and goldfish sacks. I do believe that there are heavier ones that are for winter that I would think would be a safer bet. It seems like the ones for summer were just sooo thin. Way thinner than the swaddle blankets.

@bree72: shoot, really? I was hoping that was it because they are so different in quality :( I need another one so maybe I'll just order the same print as the good one and hope for the best.

Good to know! I was planning on trying these for baby #2 but maybe I will stick to the Halo ones. I was a bit concerned that they seem so thin, but thought they might be good for the summer.

Do the ones for target say so on the label? I think the blankets do, right?

@ohapostrophe: I ordered our directly from the A&A website, so I don't know if that's the issue.

We have two- one is amazing quality and looks perfect- its probably been washed 50 times. The other ripped the very first time I washed it (I still use it, the rip is on the shoulder and doesn't make it unwearable). I think there is a huge difference in quality between the actual A+A fabric and the A+A by target (or other cheaper retailers) fabric. They don't feel the same at all. But I think amazon sells them all mixed in together at the same price. So I'd recommend looking into which prints are which and only buying the ones NOT sold a target. Overall I really love the bags and we've used them every night all summer.

We have a single layer one. We've had ours for 5.5 months and it already has tears at the shoulders. I like that it's lightweight, but I'm so disappointed in the quality...especially after loving the A+A swaddle blankets. I wouldn't buy another one.

I have three but only one ripped, at the shoulders from my son standing in his crib. I prefer the early walker sacks with feet holes from Halo.

We have two. Both ripped within a couple of uses. I would not recommend.

I have a few of the one layer A+A bags and I like them a lot. I use them almost every night since it's so warm. I treat them like sheets and blankets, so I usually wash them once or twice a week (is that gross?) and I line-dry them. I haven't had any issues with ripping or broken zippers, but from reading the Amazon reviews, I think I'm in the minority.

I have a 1 layer one that I like but we don't use it often because its VERY light. I can see how if you used it a lot and washed it a lot it would rip because its so thin.

I have them and they rip fast! But LO seems to love them and cries if we put her in a thicker sleep sack!

I've been reading the reviews on Amazon and they are surprisingly pretty bad. A lot of people said they fall apart/rip after a few washes or they've had issues with the zippers falling off. I'm thinking of getting one only because my son self-soothes with his A&A blankets during naps and I can't put one in the crib with him at night. I figure he would be able to suck on the sleep sack instead. He's pretty strong and kicks a lot in his crib so I'm afraid he would destroy any sleep sack that's not well made. Anyone have any good experiences with them?
