In his interview last week, when asked about what would happen if states continue to restrict access to abortion, Trump said "well, they'll just have to go to another state." READ: Insurance will not cover that. Having terminated for medical reasons myself, I cannot frigging imagine having to travel out of state and pay out of pocket for an abortion. Women in my support group had to do that and had to pay upwards of $40K to do that. That's right, $40K to end a wanted pregnancy. I can't imagine how much more difficult it must be to have to save money and travel far away to get the necessary procedure.</p> <p>There needs to be more compassion in this world for women and families who go through this. The Irish couple in this article traveled to the UK. Their sickly first child needs the money they had to spend on travel to the UK. I just don't get this. </p>
