As kids we would get "travel bags" for the trip. Mom would get coloring books, new small toys, music, magazines, books, etc. and put them in a cloth bag we weren't allowed to open until a few hours of the trip had passed. </p> <p>She also picked up audiobooks from the library, which helped the time pass. This will be the first road trip as a family of 6. I have a day to figure out the best way to keep 3 toddlers, a 7 month old and a husband happy in the car.
