It looks like they are trying to sell podcasts? I see they are free for a limited time. Sure these things go on but I don't think they are mainstream. Honestly, I think this is sensationalism to make a point.

The RIE inspired parenting postcast I've been listening to is free- unruffled. It also teaches the opposite of 'abusive parenting' mentioned on this site.

@Mrs. Carrot: I keep a pretty limited social media presence, but I am surprised at what I do see posted; most of the posts are in the vein of private moments that should stay private as opposed to public shaming for behavior issues. But I am continually surprised that more parents aren't more protective of their child's privacy.

@pwnstar: I completely agree. I'm surprised at the article showcasing this as mainsteam/viral.

A friend posted this article on Facebook and it really caught me off guard. http://revolutionaryparent.com/child-abuse-viral/ I've seen some of the instances that are referenced in the article, and some of them I know there can be debate over that we've even had here (the t-shirt with the "I did X" for example) but the more severe cases, like the cop hitting the girl out of her chair at school, all those I had seen as people being very much against, and this article seems to suggest this kind of "parenting" is mainsteam, which in my view is the complete opposite. Just wondering what others thought.
