@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: just that I would do one of the uninterrupted walls. I do think probably the one with the crib. We are doing a stripped wall - I love them!

I would do the crib against the accentwall..that's how we have it (our accent wall has stripes).

@MrsH: so you're saying wherever the crib is to use that as the accent wall?

@LindsayInNY: the room is a light gray now. The plan (unbeknownst to DH) is to have one accent wall and use artwork atop either the dresser/changer or the crib. Here's the room where I fell in love with MUR.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: I would pick the uninterrupted wall even if it was a smaller wall.

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: I think it could still work! Would you just paint the wall another color or put a decal or something on it? If it's the bed/crib wall, I think it would look perfect!

@LindsayInNY: this will be the nursery. I want the glider to go in the corner directly across the door, and the placement will be near the outlet controlled by the wall switch. I dont really like the look of cribs next to gliders because it requires a small table to perch a bottle. At the same time I think a dresser on the long uninterrupted wall may look weird because that's the bed/ crib wall. Plus with the way the door opens if the crib is placed along the shorter uninterrupted wall I am worried about not being able to quickly see into the room.

Some of inspiration photos show accent walls with windows, so thank goodness for HB because I was so confused.

Ditto @lindseykaye:! I visualize accent walls as usually uninterrupted walls but also the anchor for something. We have an accent wall in our bedroom and the bed is up against it. Would you have furniture or anything on the long interrupted wall?

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: Great description - I can actually imagine this room... I voted for the longest interrupted wall as well.

Haha girl this is awesome! I totally see the room and voted for the long uninterrupted wall. With the cable on the interrupted wall, seating would be opposite, so that's what I would do.

I love the Mur appliques or stripes or wall paper on one wall. I can't decide, so looking for some help. Which wall is *clearly* the accent wall?

The door cuts into the room on an angle. To the right is the closet wall.

To the right of the closet is the longest uninterrupted wall. This wall contains the outlet for the accent light that can be turned off/ on with the wall light switch.

To the right of the long wall is the wall with the centered window. The window is directly across from the closet wall. The window covering a plantation shutter.

To the right of the window wall is a shorter uninterrupted wall. When the door is completely open this wall is impacted. This wall contains the cable outlet. This wall is directly across the long uninterrupted wall.

When the door is open and you look in your sight path is a corner with the window on the left and long wall on the right.

If you draw a square and make one corner a triangle you have the basic shape of this room. I hope the layout makes sense so I don't have to take a pic.
