I'm also guilty of administering it when I think my daughter is in pain without calling her doctor first. In the past I've thought the screaming had to do with teething, but no teeth yet. I think actually my daughter just gets extra gassy sometimes, and it hurts her. </p> <p>Luckily, she loves taking the big doses from the syringe. I think she thinks it tastes like candy. But it says on the box, any child under the age of 2, ask your pediatrician for dosage.... Then why is it called "infant"??? Infants are all below the age of 2!! </p> <p>We gave LMW a bit before bed tonight because we think she's teething. Last night she was screaming like someone was killing her and didn't go down for good until past 10:30pm so we knew we had to do something for her tonight. She went down without a fight and has stayed down peacefully so far, so I think it definitely helped. Part of me thinks I should have called the pediatrician before giving it to her (she's just turned 3 months) but she's over 16 pounds so I think it should be safe. </p>
