I’m wondering about this as well! At my last ultrasound (29 weeks and some days) the ultrasound tech and my OB both remarked that LO has “above average movement” – both my husband and I were pretty chill kids, so I’m hoping we don’t have a monster on our hands here! ;-)

Aww.. So cute!! My LO was pretty chills in the womb. She was definitely a chill infant. But she's an active 1 year old!

I'm wondering this too!
I'm almost 36 weeks and she is still super active! I thought movement was supposed to slow down since there's no room! Not the case with her....

VERY curious about this. Baby W is a boy, and he is very active - when I was in the hospital and being monitored, all the nurses were in awe of how active he is!

I'm wondering if second babies just seem more active for some reason, because mine is the same way. This second girl seems so much more active than my first, and I thought she was active. I actually was awakened by this baby's movements at like 16 weeks- I wasn't even sure if I was actually feeling kicks at that point with the first one! And this morning, she moved up into my ribs all the sudden and I could see her poke my belly out a good two inches and it made me say "oof!" out loud because it was so quick and unexpected.

Hard to say since it is subjective whether or not your baby is active. But to me, I feel like my LO was active in the womb and out. I really wish she would chill out sometimes!

I'm curious too! My LO had huge kicks in the womb but he wasn't super super active. And he's a generally chill kid now. This baby is much more active than my LO was so now i'm worried! lol

Are you excited to have a boy and a girl? We're super excited that our LO will be a big brother and will help protect our little girl. :)

RJ was super active in the womb and he's very active, being a boy... but I wouldn't say he's unusually or overly active for a boy.

This baby is a girl, and I'm totally surprised to find that she's maybe even MORE active than RJ was in the womb!! I'm only 23 weeks but her movements are so often and severe, sometimes her kicks take my breath away!! I was actually diagnosed with a bladder infection because her kicks hurt me for a while, but the urine culture came back negative, which means it just plain hurts for no reason.

A couple of times now she's kicked me so hard that it literally felt like someone was poking me with a very big finger and I yelped out loud! I can't believe it's happening so early... what's it going to be like further along???

The funny thing is, I can totally tell when she's asleep, and sometimes when she's being super active I can actually rock her back to sleep by swaying back and forth!

Does this mean my little girl is going to be wild child??? Hehe.
