They weren't particularly awesome toys, but wrapping them made them super awesome. When he would start to lose it or get fussy, I'd tell him "it's time for your next present!" I buy dollar spot/store toys and wrap them individually as new little presents. We've done stickers, books, coloring books and musical toys, but the most popular was a new magnadoodle and new kids music for singalongs. Every time she started to get really upset, we would check the bag for another surprise. Our last trip which was only 2.5 hours was a nightmare. I'm dreading it this time but hoping some activities will help us make it through a little easier. I brought books and a few toys last time but that didn't last but an hour. We will be driving at night on the way there, but will have to drive in the morning on the way back. </p> <p>Hit me with your best activities for the car! </p>
