I often look for more projects I can do at home with LO, but I struggle because I feel he's a bit young in some ways to do too much. The biggest hits for us are cooking/baking projects and painting projects. Mrs. Train seems to always have the great projects going on, from what I see on IG, so hopefully she will chime in. :)

You can also search for music programs for toddlers. My LO loves to sing and dance so this is great for her. Our program is only during the school year 1x a week but during the summer they do play dates every 2 weeks or so

We go to "indoor play gym" at our city's community center ...it's perfect for the younger kids bc they have bouncy houses, smaller play structures like slides, a ton of riding toys, blocks, cars, etc...and it's all enclosed so they can't run off and you can sit and socialize with other parents. Sometimes the play structures at parks are too big for the little ones so these indoor play gyms are perfect...especially in the winter/rainy season. Our city has it 2x a week and a neighboring city has it 3x a week.

We also go to library story time....they have several programs for toddlers where they do songs and dancing and stories...and some are bilingual. Look at your local libraries and neighboring cities bc they will often have them on different days...ours is Thursday and a super close one in a different city is on Tuesday

Definitely look into your city's parks and recreation department...they usually have a few programs for kids 1+. I have her in an art/craft type class which is perfect bc they do all the set up and clean up as provide the supplies for painting, dot art, stamps, gluing, sensory play and I don't have to make my house a mess. We so this 1x a week.

We are also part of several play groups and meet up at parks, the zoo, and each others houses. One of the groups I'm in is a picnic potluck group which is nice bc we pack ours kids lunch and then share sometime more adult appropriate too. During the summer we also go to the spray/splash park a ton.

There are also things like the children's museum or local farms that you can visit. Of even have a play date at a mall that has a big play area and let your kid run around and then get some shopping done, play more, grab lunch and head home

Im a newly minted SAHM and feel like we do the same stuff all the time. We have outings and errands. But what do you do while at home? We do chores, art time (where he mostly eats his crayons), songs, go for a walk, books, outdoor play (mostly water table), and independent play. My son is 15 months old and his independent play lasts maybe 15 mins before he wants me. Oh and he is not napping that much lately (1.5-2 hrs).
