I do a lot of hand-over-hand promoting so she can experience tasks she may not be able to do independently, yet - I help her pound dough in a ziploc, stir food in a bowl, and water our herbs. We've recently been experiencing some rather warm weather, so we've been incorporating picnics and some beach time into our week. We're hoping to start swimming on occasion, too.</p> <p>I like looking through "the imagination tree" website for cool, diy sensory toy and activity ideas. Even if you aren't a huge Montessori person you will find a bunch of fun ideas. Art projects are still tricky because even the food ones might not be ideal for a baby just learning to eat. My LO is almost six months. We go to the park, playgroup and music class and also take walks, read books, sing songs and run errands, but I would love to incorporate some more structured activities or projects into our day. Anyone have any suggestions for art projects or similar activities for babies around this age? </p>
