They didn't work for me. The only thing that ever did was eating carbs and diclegis.

I did... I *think it helped?

I wore them for a few weeks then my nausea went away on its own. So I wore them when it was really bad (for me) around weeks 7-8. But, i luckily didn't have it as bad as many do.

I felt like they helped a little for a while with my second baby. I did end up in diclegis as well.

Acupuncture also helped quite a bit. I would leave the appointment hungry and have a good 24 hours after where I felt decent.

@periwinklebee: ginger candy will forever have a palvovian effect on me. Just seeing it makes me queasy.

I used them with my first pregnancy. I thought that they helped a bit. They cut down on the constant queasiness in those early months.

I don't think they make much of a difference for me. Basically what helps me to keep stuff down is diclegis and subsisting on bagels....I also never want to see another ginger candy - or cracker for that matter - for as long as I live :silly: Lukewarm bath in epsom salts maybe helps a bit when I'm feeling yuck in the evening.

@babybunnylove: Same. They did have a great placebo effect at first, though.

@babybunnylove: Same here. The unisom and B6 is the only thing that kept me functioning!

OP, I did wear the bands too and I felt like they helped.

I used them initially starting around 6 weeks. By week 7 I was had worse MS that I called and talked with my doctor. They suggested a combination of unisom and b6. I needed that and continued to take it until week 21 (unfortunately that long). It worked so well and made it easier to function.

Has anyone tried using acupressure bands or seabands to relieve morning sickness? Did it help? I'm approaching 6weeks and just like last time, the morning sickness has arrived. Looking for any novel advice to relieve it that doesn't involve ginger candy or crackers. Thanks!
