My usual acupuncturist wasn't available so I went to someone else at the same place. It was a little odd going to someone new for that appointment, but I'm glad I did it. I did a few community acupuncture sessions in the months leading up to our IVF cycle, then did a full one hour session the day before the transfer and a few hours afterwards. My philosophy was that it couldn't hurt to try and I did get pregnant and have a son, so who knows if it worked, but I'd do the same again if we do IVF again! I'm trying to decide whether or not to have acupuncture done on the actual day of my frozen transfer. On my first (unsuccessful) IVF, I did it and it was very relaxing. This time however, I may not be able to use my acupuncturist so I'm debating using someone else or forgoing completely. Any thoughts? </p>
