@sorrycharlie: For me hunching over was not the problem, the only problem was not kicking the board if I took big steps. But that is not as big a problem as carrying one kid around would be :)

@tororojo: He was 22 months (a little less than that) when his sis was born and he was fine. It does depend on the kid and they definitely need something to hang on to.

I have the board attachment for our UBV. We got it last summer so LO could get used to it. She started using it around 19 months and got the hang of it right away. I find it a little awkward pushing the stroller with the board attached bc my arms are super short which means I end up walking pretty close to the stroller and it feels like I have to walk differently to make sure I don't kick the board. I can flip it up when not in use which I like. I'm sure I'll get used to it over time

Curious about this! Am I crazy in assuming I would have to walk hunched over awkwardly??

@mamimami: So he was able to safely hang on before age 2? Not that we'll be off-roading or anything. (I'm sure that varies based on the individual kid...but DD will be 20 months when her sibling is born so I'm just not sure!)

We had one that I am not sure is available anymore... a Valco hitchhiker. It worked fine, was "universal" even for our weird foreign stroller, and my son started riding on it before age 2.

The joovy one is supposedly universal, though I don't have personal experience with it. DS is still too little, though it might be in our future!

Has anyone purchased a stroller board to add a rider to your stroller? I have seen a couple of them at Buy Buy Baby and am interested, but the reviews on Amazon aren't very impressive for the Britax one. It's possible that another brand would work with our B-Agile though, I haven't researched it much. Has anyone used one and loved it, or hated it? What age (minimum) do you think a kid would need to be to ride on it safely?

*ETA* This is the kind of thing I'm thinking of:
