People didn't come very late. Halloween is on a school night this year, so I doubt they will come after 8 pm. I'm not too concerned about their bedtime. DH or I will handle bedtime routine and the other will continue to pass out treats. If we still had kids coming the dog would be excited and I want the house to be quiet. We shut off our lights and left a bucket with our remaining candy at the bottom of our steps so no one would ring the bell, and put LO (newly 2 at the time) to bed by 9, I think. No issues. I'm sure we'll do the same this year. This year he takes more time to fall asleep and LO2 is a more sensitive sleeper. Do you keep your LOs up longer on Halloween, shut your lights out at a certain time, or does the trick or treating not affect your kids bedtime routine? </p>
