It's a bummer but he sleeps pretty well at night and is generally happy there. Apparently this is pretty normal, at least among my friends, and the pediatrician wasn't concerned. The first week someone held her for her nap; the 2nd week short naps in pnp; then I think it got better and better! He was super sick so we pulled him to let his body recover and had a college student nanny for us. Anyway, I expected poor naps and eating but he slept for about 45 min total and ate about 6 oz in 9 hours. Usually he sleeps 2-3 hours and eats at least 12 oz while I'm gone. I'm currently sitting in my car in the daycare parking lot nursing him and he looks exhausted. I know it's his first day back but how long did your LOs take to adjust? </p>
