<description>&#60;p&#62;There has been a discussion on the boards about it this week.  I just finished reading the series last night.  I think it's so hard because you wish for an easy place to put the blame... but I don't think there are any easy answers.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;I don't think the answer, though, is that adoption is scary.  I think there is some need for better education, awareness and research for people who are planning to adopt and better support for families once they do adopt.  People should be very informed about the risks of adoption from particular countries and if they decide to move forward need to have a plan in place in case their child exhibits RAD (reactive attachment disorder), FAS (fetal alcohol syndrome), or other psychological/physical issues.
