Mine does this too - it's the worst when her nails are long! No help, just commiseration. The only thing that sometimes works is playing that game where I nibble on her fingers, haha.

Mine did/does this. I found it only really bugged me when her nails were long. Then eventually she stopped doing it so much.

DD 1 used to do this too. I would just remove her hand or sometimes flick it lightly. Thankfully it was short lived!

I used to give lo a small toy or blankie wear a chew bead necklace. Very annoying phase but it did pass!

Both of my children did/do this. Sometimes my 7 month old pounds my chest with his fist and it really hurts, I'm like hello there little man no need to hit the lady that is feeding you

My guy is almost 11 months old and doesn't pinch so much as knead me. Does that make sense. But I've gotten some pretty nasty cuts! So I tend to hold his hand. The nursing necklace works, if I remember it, but I try to hold his hand.

My guy does this and it's the worst. It seems like he goes through phases with it. Sometimes, I prop him up on the boppy with one arm underneath him and let him hold my hands since that hurts less. Other times I try to redirect him to my bra strap or drawstring.

Ugh, mine started doing this recently too. Their nails turn to razor sharp talons while eating! I'm giving them these soft lovey blanket things to clutch and that helps a little. Sometimes I also treat it like biting (they don't have teeth, but how I imagine I'll deal with biting once they do) and say "we don't scratch mommy while eating" and stop nursing. I don't think that's working though...

My LO gets rough while nursing too, once she got a hold of a string on my hoodie and it distracted her from scratching at me. Maybe a nursing necklace would help? Or something he could hold onto while nursing?

Besides trying to keep his nails short...

How does one discipline a six month old? He's started pinching and scratching my breasts and sometimes even my nipple while nursing, and it really hurts! Tell me this is normal but passes quickly! And tell me how to make it stop!
