@fussygal: same amount of time as if you just took it out of your freezer.

I would get dry ice. It'll freeze everything - it's amazing!

I packed pre-pumped milk into the medela cooler bag with the ice pack insert. Then I put that into a cooler for a 2 night trip. I put the entire cooler bag into the mini fridge.

I would feed the frozen milk first (once you get there), then refrigerate your freshly pumped milk (since that lasts 5-7 days in the fridge).

I'd suggest getting some dry ice and packing your milk in that while you travel. We were able to do a 2 day drive with a weeks worth of frozen milk in dry ice in the middle of summer and everything arrived safely frozen. Many grocery stores have dry ice to purchase. Just make sure the coolers are sealed really well and get plenty of dry ice so it will last.

In a few weeks I'll be travelling for work and DH and DD are coming with me. We'll be gone for a week and for three of those days I can't guarantee I'll be there for her feedings, so I'm currently pumping a bunch for her. We're driving and the trip will be broken up into two 6 hour days. I'm thinking we'll bring a cooler, but I'm wondering if that will keep it cool enough/food safe? Once we're at the hotel we can use the little freezers in the mini-fridge, but even those don't get super cold.

I guess I could try to give her as much fresh milk that I can pump on-site and use frozen to supplement, but i'm worried pumping on-site won't go well for some reason.

Tips welcome!
