I'm going through this, but I already have a job. My husband is jobless though. He's been applying, but hasn't heard back yet. I haven't looked into any daycare yet, but my job is due to start in June. I'll probably give it another month and then really start looking for daycare because I'm fairly sure my husband will find something.

It looks like we'll be moving to a new city ,but I don't have a new job lined up; however, I think I have a good chance of getting hired because of connections I have in the new city (well old city since we're moving back to previous location). My question is should I try to figure out childcare first or just apply to as many jobs as I can? I guess, I don't want to be in either situation where I figure out the childcare but have no job or the other way around where I have the job and am scrambling for childcare. Anyone been in the same boat? Any words of wisdom?
