Goodness, I'd never last that long pumping! And remember 1 year is an arbitrary number. It's not like something magical happens where babies suddenly don't need breastmilk anymore. You did a great job! Give yourself permission to do whatever you feel is right. :)

I think you are a rock star. You have fought so hard to make it this far, and I think you should pat yourself on the back for a job well done! I wouldn't stress the pumping sessions!

You are amazing for pushign through and making it this far. I would def not have made it. I wouldn't exhaust the energy for such little output. 12 months is so close and I know I'll be transitioning A to cow's milk/alt milk in the next few weeks!

You have done such a good job! I think that if I were you I would just give up pumping and put that time and energy toward my LO at this point. I don't think of it as quitting, it is changing priorities and doing what works best for your family.

I think you are a complete rock star for pushing through and making it this long, and whatever choice you make is the right one! You have been so dedicated!

Personally I don't think I would deal with the inconvenience of pumping to only get a few drops, so I would stop. but if you don't mind the pumping, and mentally want the satisfaction of making it 1 year, then I guess keep going!

Back story: LO is a week shy of 11 months. We were never able to EBF, so we combo fed half formula, half breastmilk. She nursed reluctantly until 8 months and after that I moved to EP.

My supply has completely tanked out. I tried dropping to 2-3 pumps a day and went from producing 12 ounces total per day down to 4 or 5.

I try to pump 4x a day but each pump session is barely netting me an ounce. Last night before bed I pumped only 1/4 of an ounce.

Thid is like little droplets. Is it really worth all the trouble of pumping at work and at home for drops? I really wanted to make it to a uear, but it seems silly to continue at this point and inconvenience my boss amd DH to make it happen. I have a small stash in the freer that would only last me 9 days of giving her one bottle of BM a day
Is 11 months close enough? One on hand I feel like yes, but i worry i will regret it to come this close to my goal and then quit.

What do you think?
