@tequiero21: I know for absolute certain my friend does CIO. I've been around alot when she's done it. I just am not sure since everything is brand new.

After I posted my hubs came home and put her down and she's still asleep. This is why he is on bedtime duty.

If you know she'll go to sleep in your room then I would do that. It's only for 2 more nights. I would not feel comfortable doing CIO with someone else's daughter.

i say if you know her mom cio, you should be able to too. i don't think i'd expect my friend to stay up all night with my baby or sleep in the same room. especially when you're doing her the favor!

Is calling her mom an option (to see what she would want you to do)?

My son is 15 months old. He still doesn't sleep through the night and cobeds with us. He nursing 1 or 2 times a night. These are not major problems for us.

We are watching my friends daughter who just turned 2. So, they are 9 months apart. Here is where I need advise.

She won't sleep! She has been awake and crying every hour since I put her down. Our plan was for her to sleep in our sons bed and him to sleep in ours. Well to get them down, I ended up with both in my bed. I moved her to the bedroom when I left. Now, she is in the pnp in our room.

Should I let her sleep in our room and keep her happy? Of make her CIO (I know her mon does this). I can't be up every hour, I work in the morning.

What do you think? We have 2 more nights with her. Other than this, she is an angel.
