@mrs. bird: we were thinking of doing a "bonus" too, but having a hard time figuring an amount! Maybe cash would be better than a gift card too....

i've been given a beautiful scrapbook and a snapfish photo book. they were both really special to me, and a check for unused personal time & a little 'thank you' bonus.

We gave our daycare teachers a parting/Christmas gift. We got them each $50 to Target and I threw in a magnetic note pad, sticky notes & a cute pen. Maybe a gift card would be nice?

One thing I did last year was make a photobook of pictures of my son to give his nanny. Then she could remember his year with her.

We are just ending our almost year-long relationship of having our neighbor watch our son during the day. We have moved and it just doesn't make sense any more. She home-schools her 3 older children and I know they're really going to miss having him with them.

We are so thankful for her time, and would like to give her a gift, but are having a really hard time coming up with something that is meaningful and not too over the top…

HELP!? Any ideas??????
