@psw27: Stress has definitely delayed my periods before, that's usually the cause for a late period for me, so I think that's a possibility although I wasn't overly stressed this month. I'm going to wait a few days to see if my period comes and will test again.

I've definitely had long cycles that were BFN - one was 36 days and one was 42 days when my cycles were normally about 30-31. At the time I was really stressed out and the other time I was running a lot (20+ miles a week). So it can happen, I must have just O'd late and it delayed things. BUT I hope for you its a BFP!! :goodluck:

@mrsmacSLP: Oh wow, 9 days late, that must have been so frustrating! This gives me hope though. I keep poking my boobs to see if they are sore yet. Congrats on the pregnancy!!

@Mrsbells: I have a first response test at home, but yesterday I felt like I would have been wasting it since it was 5pm and my pee was somewhat diluted from drinking lots of water throughout the day. I'll probably use it in a few days if I don't get my period by then.

@lilyann: I was wondering if it could have been implantation, but if that was the case I feel like I would have ovulated way later than I was expecting and not sure we timed things right for that to be possible. It's tough not knowing when I ovulated this month, ugh!

@PeaceLily: can you try a digital test? I always use First response which is great for early testing

I was 9 days late before I got a positive test. Your cycle sounds just like mine! And I am 6 weeks pregnant with no sore boobs, no nausea!

Just wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else! I'm now on cycle day 36 and have not gotten my period yet. I took a wondfo pregnancy test yesterday around 5pm and it was negative. My cycles are usually 30-31 days (though a few months ago I did have a 35 day cycle).

What's throwing me off is that my boobs have yet to get sore this month and they are always sore for at least a full week before my period comes. I'm assuming I ovulated late, but the lack of sore boobs makes me think my period isn't coming anytime soon. My cervix is also very high up and closed with lots of white cm. Two days ago I had some cramping and brown spotting/discharge, but nothing since then.

If anything similar has happened to you in the past, what was the outcome? I of course would love to be pregnant, but I don't have my hopes up. Just not sure why this cycle is being so weird!
