So not bad. After she weaned, I never had any engorgement or discomfort (it was really gradual) but then almost a week after her last nursing session, I woke up with my shirt just completely soaked through. We do a feed around 4, and the opposite boob leaks like a faucet while she nurses. If I forget a pad I will have to change my clothes and bra because I soak through them. I've never soaked through a disposable breast pad, but I can't wear reusable ones because those I soak through fairly quickly. I'm jealous of all the people who don't leak. But my other nipple is usually suppressed when I'm nursing, which helps prevent the leaking. If it's exposed, it leaks when I have a letdown. I held a milk storage bag up to the other side from around weeks 3 to 9--should have started immediately but didn't think of it. The leaking between daytime feeds has stopped though... for a while in the first few months, I would get OUNCES of milk just from leaks... (held an empty bottle while nursing on the other side). I think it was like that for me with DS1 until he started solids and dropping nursing sessions. It might last longer this time though, since I had overactive letdown and oversupply, etc.
