I've had the same experience-- she's fussy, crabby, chomping and drooling, and I can see the little bump. It finally breaks through and half the time she's totally fine again, the other half she continues with the fussiness even though I don't see any other teeth coming in. So I've given up even trying and just assume she is teething at all times. When my LO's first broke through the gums, she immediately started teething again to cut the second tooth a few days later. Now that both are in, i thought she'd get some relief but she's furiously chomping on everything right now, like almost worse than before! Is this normal "getting used to her new teeth" behavior? I thought she'd calm down once it broke through. is it possible the area around the teeth is still painful as they continue to grow?
