We have several restaurants in the area that have play areas or outdoor areas to run around. They aren't fast food or anything, just cater to people with kids. I have seriously never seen a kid so obsessed with food. We went out to pizza for the first time in like 6 months with my ILs, and she was freaking out that everyone was getting pizza but us. She went through 12 saltine crackers in like 5 minutes, and I didn't want to ask the poor waiter to bring us more for a 3rd time. I always feel bad when I leave a restaurant and there are Cheerios or blueberries or whatever she is eating all over the floor, and frantically try to pick it all up.</p> <p>We are still pretty "safe" at restaurants at 11 months. We usually hold him until food comes, then put him in his high chair to eat with us. But once he's full and done eating, he becomes squirmy and turns around in his chair and stands up!! Even if we have him buckled in! He does this with the Target shopping carts too! Also, my younger toddler has just discovered screaming/screeching in public...not fun! </p>
