LO1 took about 2 weeks.

LO2 took her first steps about 6 weeks ago and still prefers crawling (she just turned 12 months).

she took her first steps (up to 5 at a time) about 1.5 months before she started to walk (many steps). then 2 weeks until she started running, and once she started running she abandoned crawling. until she could run, she still crawled a lot because she was so fast at it and walking took too long :)

DS's first steps were on Halloween, and maybe a week and half ago he started walking primarily instead of crawling. At daycare they said he doesn't crawl any more the last couple days. I did notice him crawl this morning but I'm wondering if that might be the last time.

Gosh, I feel like when he realized he could walk, he never went back. But I'm sure that isn't true so 2 weeks probably.

A while. Her first steps were at 13 months old, and I couldn't get her to walk more than 2 steps until 14 months. Now at 15 months, she seems to want to walk 90% of the time.

My twins are 22 months, walked at 13 & 15.5 months and still LOVE crawling daily. They actually giggle at each other when they do it!

When did your LO abandon crawling (as their primary method to get around) and walk FT?

It took LO 1 about 2 weeks? She took her first steps at 14.5 months and she was walking at 15 months. LO 2 took her first steps on Saturday but hasn't done much since then.
