I happened to have a crazy morning and didn't have time to eat, so ended up fasting. No way I could have fasted for an afternoon test, though! A friend gave me some advice. Don't eat sweets for 24hrs, and keep the carbs to a minimum. This includes fruit. Don't eat or drink anything after you take the glucose drink, but before is fine.
