I normally use it to give him some food while I do something else. He gnaws on carrots and apples while in it. I wish we'd gotten a jumperoo! I LOVED our exersaucer and jumperoo. We had one in the living room, one in the kitchen. We kept using them until he was well past 1 year old. Since he didn't walk til 15 months but loved being upright, he LIVED in these. I feel the same way about our Jumperoo. It's been a life-saver, but man is it ugly. LO is 6 months old now, so I'm guessing it won't be for a while...we just got it a few weeks ago, used...he loves it and I love that it's a 'safe place' but I don't love looking at it. </p>
