Totally okay. I have poured my pumped milk into (cleaned out) gatorade bottles before. :)

Sure! A couple times I forgot lids and ran out to CVS to buy aluminum foil to cover the tops. I had to be super careful driving home!

Done this, everything was fine! One time I didn't even have a bottle and put the milk in an empty paper cup.

@LBee: i would do that. a lot of moms in my working pumping moms group on FB have done that w/no issues.

Oh yes, a little water mixed in will be fine!! I'm glad you have an alternative solution - losing 20 ounces would be devastating :(

Ugh... I forgot lids to my pumping bottles (x3).

Is it cool to pour my milk into a water bottle? I poured all the water out of an unopened bottle, but couldn't get it 100% dry (obviously). I'm hoping it's not a problem that a little bit of water got mixed with the milk. I suppose I could throw the milk away for the day, but that would mean losing 20 ounces.

Assuming that this water bottle system works, I'm thinking it's fine to mix cold and body-temperature milk just this once.

Happy Monday, everyone!
