I think it would be fine since it being baked. But if you're worried about it, try using cream fraiche instead. I made salmon that way recently and it was great!

Mmmmm, yum. Now I want salmon!

Yeah, I didn't catch that you were going to put it on the salmon and then bake. I think you should be fine. Take pictures!

If you're cooking the salmon long enough to cook it, that's certainly long enough to cook egg yolk.

I would probably use store bought, since you're baking it, honestly. The beauty of homemade is not cooking it, but if it is baked, it's fine (assuming you cook the fish well done).

i think it's okay since it's going to be baked, unless you're only baking it for a minute or something. if you're nervous at all, go for the mayo.

Mmmm that sounds delicious. If you're putting it on the salmon before baking it, I don't think it would be a problem! :) I definitely have eaten similar things while pregnant. Enjoy!

Tonight I'm planning to cook salmon and the recipe calls for aioli. To make it I'll need to use two egg yolks. After I make it I will add lemon, dill, and butter to it, put it on the salmon and bake it. Is that safe to eat? Should I use mayo out of the fridge instead of making it myself? Or should I cook the salmon a different way?
