You could check the car seat when you check in, then keep the stroller and gate check that right before boarding. I wouldn't want to carry the car seat through the airport without a snap and go base nor bring both the snap and go and the g luxe. There are some safety concerns with checking a car seat as baggage but I didn't have a problem. I assume you don't have a separate seat for your Lo?

I agree that having a carrier makes security easier but it depends on your baby. C is generally happy in the carrier even after she gets sick of her stroller.

Eta: many airlines let you check one baby item free, but if you check one at check in and one at the gate they don't charge.

@lakeviewmama17: I would not bring both. I traveled with LO and didn't bring a stroller at all and even that was a pain. Are you planning to check the G-Luxe and that's why you can't put LO in that while you're in the airport? I highly recommend one of you wear LO in a carrier...it made going through security so much easier. I would definitely leave the snap n go at home.

We have a 6-month-old and I have a question about traveling through the airport with him.

We would prefer to bring both our own infant carseat and our G-Luxe stroller for an upcoming week-long vacation. We also have a snap'n'go, which would make getting through the airport easier with the carseat, but unfortunately he isn't very happy anymore to sit in that for too long. Am I nuts to bring both?

I'll be traveling with my husband so one of us could push him in the stroller through the airport while the other carries the carseat. Have others done this, or should I just have him tough it out and use the snap'n'go / baby wear for the vacation?

Thanks!
