Yep, I had back reflux and nausea with my first until about week 16. Not much helped, but I took zantac when it got bad. Try to stay upright after eating. Stay away from acidic foods. That's about all the advice I have, but definitely got lots of empathy for you!

@Greentea: I agree. Papaya Enzyme (I just get any brand from grocery store vitamin isle) and chew on those.

I would switch to maybe apple juice or coconut water which can both help hydrate and help with the reflux.

Chewable papaya digestive enzyme (American health) really helped me a lot. Can you switch to coconut water over Gatorade?

I took extra strength Zantac twice a day for the acid reflux and was on zofran for a while for the nausea and vomiting. Even water gave me problems for a while. Sometimes chewing cinnamon gum helped, but that was more after the nausea wore off. Sorry you're dealing with this; it can be so awful.

No advice but I hope you feel better! I lived on soft pretzels and French fries for the past few bouts of nausea but I haven't had the acid reflux too.

Ok Bees, I'm feeling a bit dramatic but am having a hard time functioning. I've had nausea since about week 5. I am 8 weeks now. I haven't actually vomited, but I'm afraid that might change soon.

I've been feeling like crap since last night. Nauseous, serious acid reflux (tmi but it is just SITTING in the back of my throat) and I am miserable. I am still getting some Gatorade, water, and lemonade down. I drank a Carnation breakfast drink for dinner and breakfast. I'm focusing on keeping that down for now. I was doing rice, plain pasta, etc. but nothing sounds good anymore.

Any advice? I am taking Tums. I think I would be okay if the acid reflux wasn't there. That just intensifies the nausea.
