I will check with the convention center to see if they have a room. Since it's all day, I don't want to lug around my pump the whole time (I have the PISA), that would be heavy.

Guess I will order a manual pump and test it out a few times prior.

THANKS!!!

Id ask the convention center if they have a space they can use. When I was running a large event at an expo center I had a Mom ask and I gave her access to a small, private room that locked.

If it is at a convention center, see if there is a small meeting room that is not being used. I have used a manual and it takes about 10 per side or so. You could get milkscreen strips and see if you need to dump at all...

I've heard the same as Mrs. Bells. Does your electric pump have to be plugged in? Mine is pretty portable, so I'd just toss it into a large purse and, hate to say it, pump in the bathroom.

Do you have a pump? I agree that pumping in a bathroom is probably easier since you will want to dump anyways.

from what I've heard manual pumping can take about 10 minutes per side, but I dont know from personal experience because I've never used a manual

Every year we do a girls weekend and go to this all day wine expo. Last year I was DD since I had just found out I was pregnant, but this year I'm trying to figure out how to manage pumping while attending.

The expo is from 11-6 and we usually are there about the whole time. Initially I had thought I could go to my car and pump halfway through. It's in a large convention center though, so we'll be parking kind of far away so I think if I have to leave to pump in the car I'll be gone for about an hour.

Another thought is to buy a manual pump and pump & dump in the bathroom? Has anyone done that before? How long does manual pumping usually take?

Any other suggestions? I doubt I'll be drinking a ton (as I have in the past) because I can't imagine a hangover with a baby right now (LO will be 4.5 months when we go).
TIA!
