@JennyPenny: yes! Right after a shower just lightly dry off then cover arms and legs. I’m 4 months pp so I still use it on my boobs and tummy sometimes. Oh and I love it on my collarbone/décolletage. Again, that sheen!

If it’s night time I am liberal with it. If it’s for daytime/before I go out, I go a little lighter.

@SweetiePie: @lamariniere: Interesting! I used the L'Occitaine almond oil on my belly when pregnant (probably an HB tip, maybe from y'all) and I did think it made my belly skin feel amazing. Never thought about or tried using it all over :silly:

I swim regularly and use either the l’Occitaine product @SweetiePie: mentioned (I tried it after a bunch of bees were raving about it!). Or Nuxe Huile Prodigeuse shower oil (not sure of the exact name). I feel like they both leave my skin hydrated after the pool. I don’t use body moisturizer though because we live in a very humid climate, so I would just get slimy. I have type II skin, so I’m pretty fair and very freckly, and my main concern is sun exposure. I use sunscreen on my arms and the backs of my hands if I know I’m going to be out and about, and sometimes on my legs if I know I’m outside all day. I use one by Bioré that goes on very easily and soaks in fast.

I use whatever body wash smells good to me at the time. I’ve honestly tried so many (bar soaps too) and I’ve never noticed a difference. I choose something that’s meant to be moisturizing but that’s it.
Mayyyybe the closest I’ve come is the L’Occitane Almond Oil wash (not sure the exact name). I use that when I feel particularly dry. And the smell is heavenly. I know a lot of bees here use it.

For scrubs, which I don’t do often enough, there are two I’ve liked a lot. One is run of the mill and the other is super heavy duty. Like I wouldn’t do more than 1-2 times a month (and I don’t even do that).
Herbivore CocoRose is more of my “regular” scrub.
DermDoctor KP Duty is the other one. Actually got it for my husband who has Kerstosis Pilaris but I used it once and holy smokes it’s pretty incredible. You will not believe how smooth you are after it’s asronishing. But yeah, it’s strong.

For moisturizing I use what my derm recommended and that’s just Cerave from pretty much any drug store/grocery/Walmart. It’s expensive for drug store but not as much as, say, Sephora. I use the lotion if I take a daytime shower and the cream if I shower before bed. The cream is really thick and I actually find it hard to get my clothes on for a while after. But it works. I’ve had skin dryness and irritation issues and that’s what she recommended immediately. If you have rough skin though, you can get something like Amlactin which has acids to basically eat dead skin cells while it moisturizes. She also recommended that for my husband.

When I want something more luxurious OR I’m super dry OR I want a nice glow on my legs (like if I’m going out) and arms, I use the L’Occitaine Almond body oil. It’s not overly greasy and leaves a nice “sheen”. No sparkle. It’s just an oil but it makes you look super hydrated.

Not what you asked, but for self tanner I use Tan Towels. I think it really helps my legs look more moisturized and “glowy” in the summer.

Hellobee has been the best source of beauty tips and tricks for me lately so I thought I'd see what people love for full body skin care. I don't do anything really right now except wash, shave, and use whatever lotion was on sale last time I was at the store. I'm interested in any products or routines that people like to keep their skin soft and healthy.
