That really helped. Still not as supportive as my hiking sandals, but you can’t ask for that kind of support from a more formal shoe. I highly recommend sizing up at least a half-size in the Point, for me a full size would have probably been better. Sizing does seem to vary by color though. And Rothy’s is really excellent about returns if they don’t work out. I tried on the Skippers and wasn’t sold on them, but I haven’t tried tho other styles. I have a pair of Rothy’s Points that are not super comfortable but I do wear them sometimes. I tried the Rothy’s sneaker a few weeks ago because the blue gingham print was so cute and they looked great on, but man were they uncomfortable so I returned them. Really narrow (and I don’t have a particularly wide foot) and scratchy inside. My Points are nowhere near as scratchy. I walk at least 3-4 miles in them every work day and they have held up really well and are extremely comfortable. Plus you can throw them in the wash when they need to get cleaned.
