Definitely sounds like a reaction like the other Bee said make a journal of what was ate. My daughter started breaking out around the mouth area and its not like she had not eaten any seafood before. But we took her to the doctor and later found out she is allergic to shellfish. Hopefully you find out what it is soon

I would definitely suggest calling the ped and keeping a journal of what foods cause the reactions and hold off on feeding those to him again until you can talk to a doc.

DS has randomly had a red rash break out around his mouth this week after eating certain things, but all things he has had before. We had pancakes on Sunday using the same mix & syrup as before, and he got the rash and then again on Monday with pancake leftovers. He had BBQ sauce at his Gram's this week and got a rash. It is not the same BBQ sauce that we have at home, but is still BBQ sauce. And then today he was having Chex & Cinnamon Chex for breakfast and got a rash as well. He had both of these yesterday without a problem.

I am not sure if I should be really concerned or what to think. The rash goes away after about 20 minutes but I am not sure what exactly triggers it in these foods or if it could get worse.
Any ideas?
