We had it done in the allergist's office initially and waited for a period of time afterwards.</p> <p>Check a few things:<br /> 1. Is any part of the inside of her mouth swollen? Especially her tongue? If it is, get her to the ER asap.<br /> 2. Is she having any labored breathing? Again, if she is ER immediately.<br /> 3. Check her chest, back and armpits. Are there any hives there? If so, a dose of benadryl, and taking her to the pediatrician is in order.<br /> 4. Vomiting isn’t typical after a flu shot and the one time I’ve had someone have stomach pain with every flu shot is because they had an egg allergy. Mine was a few weeks ago. I had a moderate reaction: Fever, body aches and head ache for about 8 hours. </p> <p>LO had her shot yesterday. She woke up last night vomiting. Google tells me this is a sign of allergic reaction. She doesn't have a fever (99.5°), and no one else at school has a stomach bug. </p> <p>Did anyone else ever experience vomiting after the flu vaccine?? (I'm waiting to hear back from our doc)</p> <p>ETA: I know many people don't have a reaction. I'm specially wondering about vomiting afterwards. </p>
