I've had goopy eyes as an allergy symptom before. It depends on what's blooming. I went to the eye dr just knowing it was going to be an eye infection and he was like, no infection! It's allergies.

We are thinking seasonal allergies with the goop being just the watery discharge collecting. The stool I don't know but I doubt it is more food. I suspect it is just his body still doesn't recover well.

I've had pretty bad seasonal allergies my whole life - they suck. I've never really had goopy eyes as a symptom, but I have had swollen watery eyes... Almost like a sty, but clearly not. That doesn't mean it couldn't be allergies though. I'm not sure about the stool though. Is there any other food he may have developed an allergy to?

Are you thinking just the eye is allergies or everything else as well?

I'm pretty convinced M has allergies. Her eyes water a lot for no apparent reason. Daddy had pretty bad allergies as a child and still does. My brother has severe seasonal allergies. I sometimes get allergies in the summer!

My son is almost two. He was breastfed exclusively until 5.5 months and breastfed a lot until December and is now 2 times a day.

He got what we think was pink eye two Thursdays ago but it cleared up almost instantly with drops. He got fever and diarrhea on Monday. He was home all week with loose stool. The watery stool was done Tuesday. That was followed by two days of orange with red and black specks. This is now almost completely undigested food. We know he's has an intollerance to soy and we haven't had any.

We stopped eye drops Tuesday and since Thursday his eyes have been getting goopy. The doctor called and said that wasn't normal for pink eye but if its just after waking up it is normal. His eyes have never done this before.

I am starting to think it may be allergies. Anyone else experience toddler allergies or these symptoms?
