My OB said Claritin was fine. But as others have said, it seems that pregnancy has given me a little reprieve from seasonal allergies, so I haven't taken anything.

Unluckily I've been that woman whose allergies are worse while pregnant. Per the ok from my OB I can take my zyrtec, nasal spray and Singular (an asthma allergy prescription) all with no harm to the baby. I also checked online and they're all Class B.

I took Zyrtec while pregnant. Weirdly enough (as I have had to take an allergy pill everyday, sometimes 2x a day for *years* to deal with my allergies), when I was pregnant my allergies got a ton better!! So hopefully that happens to you too! But, on days I needed something; my OB approved my continued use of Zyrtec.

We're TTC now and at my last annual appointment, we went over all my meds so I could stop anything that was not pregnancy friendly. I take Zyrtec every day which she said was fine!

I am still ttc, but my doctor said to switch to Claritin when I get a bfp. I currently take Zyrtec. Sinus rinse helps me too.

I do think there is a reason to avoid allegra. I would double check with your gyn before taking anything though.

I have year round allergies and was told almost all allergy meds are safe. I take Claritin, use a sinus rinse & have a nasal spray as well. All Dr. approved and safe.

Did any of you take any allergy medicines while pregnant? My allergies are making me totally miserable and I need to take something!
I've been sneezing non stop
Stuffed nose
Itchy and watery eyes
Itchy throat
Hives all over my legs

What did you take?
