@stargal: I have been! But I'm thinking... Is this gonna last thy she still sleeps ok when down? Or is this happy moment going to lead to lots of sleepless nights? Guess only time will tell!

She did the funniest thing this nap. Cried when I put her down then laughed (still sleeping) when I picked her up.. Couldn't stop myself from a little laugh!

this started for us around 8.5 months too. My pediatrician chalked it up to teeth and separation anxiety.

10-12 months was a bumpy road for us. By a year things got easier again, and he's been sttn since (with the exception of last night...ugggggh!)

Falling asleep in his own bed was a challenge, I'd camp out in his room for over an hour so he would fall asleep. Then we got the Scout doll for his first birthday, and it cut the time to 10-15 minutes to fall asleep. I just figured it was hard for him to learn how to fall asleep on his own and he had to learn how.

Dd hasn't been able to fall asleep without someone in the room since 8 months. Before that she usually fell asleep on her own with her pacis and basically sttn 10-11 hrs. Now she is back to sleeping well once she's down (10h now though) but she is still hard to get down.

She never liked being rocked except in her swing. All of a sudden she wants to be rocked to sleep and falls asleep that way (a couple times in a few days, once for a night waking and once when I was just rocking her to calm her for bed.)

What gives??
