My daughter is just a month younger than your son and we are doing 2 day preschool in the fall. It's not just about her energy level though that is a factor. We just think she's ready socially/intellectually for part-time preschool. I do hope that the socialization and stimulation of school will chill her out a bit but I'm not banking on it. :) We'll probably do 3 days next year and 4 or 5 days the last year before kindergarten, so it will be a nice way to ease into school.

Long time no post. My son will be 3 in Sept and he is just wild all the time. We switched from an inhome daycare to a nanny in Feb and although she gets them out of the house daily I think he might need more activity. We debated preschool for the fall but had decided against it (he is still 3 years from kindergarten) but now I am wondering if I should put him in part time.

Anyone have advice or commiseration for me?
